So many suffer from love unrequited. But we sometimes continue to suffer even after our love has been requited. That's when we're forced to look more closely at the real nature and true meaning of "love" itself... so few have explored the whole spectrum of love, which ranges from specific to non-specific - local to non-local. In transcendental states we may experience such a complete union with Source or what humans vaguely call "God" that it only exists in a single moment that expands to fill all time and space. However, love between humans is often associated with the social convention of seeking a marital partner; so many who thought they had found one end up feeling disappointed. In short, my dear, hardly anybody on earth knows the answer to your question (but we can still have fun asking! :-)
